The Process of Purification

Shakinapoet

On Wednesday night my husband and I was having a conversation with my son about the meaning of salvation. We were explaining to him what is required for him to be assured that his name would be written in the book of life. Towards the end the conversation he asked me “what do I need to do to have this connection with The Adoni (Lord)”. Later that night, while I was trying to fall asleep I heard in my spirit a new song. The lyrics went like this; purify my heart, purify my mind, purify my soul oh Lord. I repeated theses words over and over again until, I feel asleep. Before falling sleep, I looked up the meaning of purification and this is what it stated: purification; the removal of contaminants from something, water purification, the process of extracting something from a substance and the process of making something spiritually or ceremonially clean.

What’s amazing about this is, this Sunday my husband and I is going to part take in a Mikvah. The purpose of a Mikvah is the ritual of immersion in Judaism to achieve purity and we are going to be Mikvah into Messiah and cleansed from all impurities. What I’m saying is? For those who are believers in Yeshua we must go through a process of purification. Just like gold we must go through the refiner’s fire to be purified that the dross falls from it to shape it into a solid bar of gold. Therefore, what purify us? According to 1 Peter 1:7“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Yeshua Hamashiach” The answer is simple the trying of faith causes us to be purified in order for us to look more like Yeshua in the earth.

Then in 1 peter 1: 22: “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:” In order for us to purify our souls we must obey the truth which is obeying the Torah. Without obeying the Torah we cannot and will not understand the Brit-Hadassah/New Testament because Yeshua Hamashiach is the Torah and He’s the Written, Spoken, and Living true word of Hashem. When going through a purification process we are allowing Hashem to burn off all impurities, uncleanness, unconfessed sins, and anything else that does not represent Him in us.

The key is submitting to Hamshem that’s when the process of purification starts and then you go through the fire and dross falls off. But keep in mind it’s your personal responsibility to be accountable for your own purification process.

Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto EloHim, which is your reasonable service.” 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine your selves, whether ye be in the faith: prove your own selves. Know yee not your own selves, how that Yeshua Hamashiach is in you, except ye be reprobates?”

Sincerely

Shakina, Shabbat Shalom.
